Ventilation & Duct Cleaning
Your ductwork is the lungs of your home. Dirty, leaky ducts mean dustier rooms, higher bills, and allergens recirculating every minute your system runs. EcoLux uses commercial negative-pressure equipment to actually clean — not just blow air around.
What's included
- Whole-home negative-air duct cleaning
- Aeroseal duct sealing (up to 90% leak reduction)
- Dryer vent cleaning to prevent fire hazards
- Fresh air ventilation (ERV / HRV) installs
- Before-and-after camera inspection photos
How Our Duct Cleaning Works
We hook a truck-mounted vacuum to your main trunk line, isolate each branch with a HEPA negative-air machine, then agitate every register with rotating air-whip tools. The result is documented with before/after photos at each vent.
Duct Sealing with Aeroseal
The average home loses 25–40% of conditioned air through duct leaks. Aeroseal sprays a polymer aerosol from inside the duct to seal pinhole gaps at every joint — measurable, certified, and warranted for 10 years.
Improving Indoor Air Quality
We pair cleaning with high-MERV filtration, UV-C purification, and balanced ventilation so the air leaving your registers is genuinely cleaner than the air outside — critical during wildfire season.
Frequently asked questions
How often should ducts be cleaned?+
Most homes benefit from cleaning every 5-7 years. Sooner if you've remodeled, have pets, allergies, or visible dust at the registers.
Will duct cleaning lower my energy bill?+
Cleaning alone gives a small bump. Cleaning + Aeroseal sealing typically cuts HVAC energy use 15-25%.
Do you clean dryer vents too?+
Yes — clogged dryer vents cause 2,900 home fires per year in the U.S. We recommend cleaning every 1-2 years.
